オムライス

田舎のレトロな洋食屋に連れて行っていただいた。

立派な白髭を貯えた小柄なお爺さんが営んでいて猫と出迎えてくれる。

お皿から溢れんばかりに盛られたポテトサラダやらフルーツやらを見ていたら

祖母を思い出した。

里に帰ると決まって「これも食べんさい、もっと食べんさい、

いっぱい食べんさい」とお腹がはち切れそうな私にごちそうやお菓子を

エンドレスに持ってきてくれた。

もう会えないけど、今一番会いたい人。

An old man with the white bear runs the restaurant, and a cat will welcome you.

The food overflowing the plate reminds me of my grandma used to bring me a tons of food endlessly to treat me when I went back to my hometown. 

She is the person I have an urge to see the most these days and can't meet anymore.
